Who else will step up other than Braden SMith? They are the only 2 QB's in spring practice. Unless the walk-on that JJ wont discuss steps up. But I dont think he will be here until fall if it is the guy I think it is? No way we play another ture freshman unless BLM and BS both get injured. BLM has a full year of playing in this offense. Thats why he will get the nod.

Plus Padron is the poster boy for a kid who should be redshirted. Needs physical development, lean and has very little playing experience. I hope SMU doesn't waste a year by playing him when he simply isn't ready. SMU will get a lot more out of him as a 5th year Senior than they will as a True Freshman.
