Khalid Beard

I heard he has been moved to DE. I think he has put on some lbs too. Not sure about this move, but he was unproductive at LB.

When will BJ be moved to safety so he can display his true talent and not continue playing LB where we are stacked with talent and he is undersized.

I agree, when are coaches at least going to try him there?

BJ played safety briefly his first year, and was ineffective, so they moved him to LB.

If Beard can bulk up, he could be effective at DE. He's incredibly quick, and pretty strong for his size.

I beg to differ, BJ never got a chance at safety. The coaches moved him to LB when he came to SMU. They felt that his ability to hit and aggressivness was extra odenary. He told me this.

I stand corrected. I was under the impression he was moved based on his performance at safety. Glad I'm wrong.
