I have been donating a block of football season tickets for several years. Terry Hemme in the ticket office coordinates the program for the Athletic Department. It involves bringing various inter-city kid groups to the campus for the day which includes a campus tour, having fun in the PE center, a lunch and tickets for a game. Since I live 1500 miles from Dallas and can rarely attend a game, it give me the chance to provide home game fun days for needy kids and support the SMU Athletic Department at the same time. Yes, it is tax deductable and acknowledged by SMU.
