FCS team rolls into Dallas...bear in mind, this is a team TCU played last season and beat by SIXTY POINTS -- a team the Frogs outgained 525-143. And SMU gets outgained by them by over 100 yards and this thread gets titled "SFA has a good football team."

LOL - you wouldn't know good football if it jumped up and bit your face off. Those two teams last night were equally horrific and the least bad team probably lost. Looking forward to October 3rd.

Go crawl into a hole. This topic of conversation has nothing to do with TCU. That being said, SFA did surprise me with their level of play, but SMU surprised me equally with how bad it looked.

The fourth quarter looked pretty much how I had expected the entire game to look.

SFA had a pretty decent team and they came to play. Not sure we weren't a little too over confident.
Good luck to SFA, I think they are better than their finish last year.

The better team lost. SFA played well and we were out coached. We were fortunate to win.

Secondly, Coach Jones mentioned in his post-interview conference that Bo's confidence was test early because of the receiver dropping catches all over the field. Receivers did have to dive at times, but, there were many catchable footballs dropped. Receivers have to make their quarterback look good and very much contribute to the QB's confidence.You could add poor play selection to the list. The middle was open most of the game and seldom tested.

Emmitt 1 was correct identifying a glaring negative. Turnovers must convert into points. They did not.

Regarding the comments from ponyscott, good observation, but, look closely at how the coaches set the linemen splits on the punt team. Any strong, fast, players from any team we play, have a direct path to the three upbacks. With a 10 yard head of steam, a punt block is being analyzed by future teams as we speak.

Lastly, I'd rather be a Pony than a purple horny toad. TCU, keep you confidence high. Don't worry about SMU, just like OU didn't worry about BYU, or, maybe like TCU didn't worry about SMU after beating OU a few years ago. Don't worry about the Mustangs big mouth horny toad.
