The tasks involved after the passing of a parent is a time consuming effort. My Dad went first and then seven years later my Mom. After Mom passed, it took a good year and then some to deal with everything. It's not fun, but it will be behnd you at some point and life will resume in a normal fashion...sort of.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Deep Purple when you have to replace 7 starters from one of the best defenses in the country you are rebuilding on defense;

S Steven Coleman, LB Robert Henson, S Stephen Hodge, NT Cody Moore, DE Matt Panfil, LB Jason Phillips, DT James Vess

I was perfectly aware they had great prospects to take those starters place and in fact certain of the replacements played prominent roles in their past success. Its a credit to TCU that they could reload so fast-TCU haa a deep talent base.
