Even better-I laughed when I heard about the Cannon

Supposedly all of this hoopla, including a U.S. flag that covers the whole field and the horse drawn cannon is all part of a salute to our men and women in the armed forces.

I hear they are going to dress Peruna in a clown suit and shoot him out of the cannon into the AllState Insurance net. AllState is going to donate $10,000 towards the "Buy the clowns a little bitty car" fund.

He may be small - but if they shot Peruna out of a cannon and he landed on you, it would hurt.

Ya know, Navy's goat did not throw a pass in last year's 33-7 win.

I did the story from my seat in the stands when he did it. It was just seconds before the team came out. Captains were already on the field and they were scooping it up while the toss was going on. It was on the white strip on the side line that marks the area the players have to stand behind. About the 48 yard line. Right where Jones stands when the play in in the midle portion of the field. Sorry I did not take a picture, but I do not know how to post those things anyway.
