It should dramatically improve but the disappointing thing is that the improvement should have happened starting with the first game of the season. The penalties, key drops to keep drives going, and inability to drive the ball down the field on say a 7-12 play drive for a score at least some of the time is not very good considering the supposed expertise of this staff. Some of the little things that even pee wee football know from watching tv seem to be too much for our staff and players. Example: less than 50m seconds remaining but our offense has the ball but ECU has three timeouts which everyone knows they will use after we run a play. We are doing right and there is still 37 seconds left after using two timeouts and it is third down. After the timeout which I am sure Bo reviewed the options with June on the sideline he then rolls right on third down with no pressure and instead of sliding down to force ECU to use their last timeout he throws the ball way out of bounds to stop the clock leaving ECU with time for several more plays and a timeout! Shocking! We wiill learn but hopefully sooner than later. These guys are good now and it is positive that we are winning and playing tough in spite of such play. We are sooooo close.

Back to the positive, just looked at the highlights. Bo was actually better in the second half!! That could be a good sign.

The 96 yard TD was 55 yards in the air. That is a good play. And a nice TD throw later.

Hopefully that builds some confidence.
Go Ponies!!
Beat whoever it is we are playing!!

Bo played an efficient game for the most part. He still had a few headscratcher moments, especially the monster sack late in the 4th quarter when we were driving. However, it was a positive step in his development. He didnt have the "Oh No' throw so I will take this.
Back off Warchild seriously.

we are going to see some track meets as the CUSA schedule unfolds; not many stout defenses left on this year's schedule
