The pink didn't bother me. But seriously, isn't there some NCAA rule about wearing colors that are different from the colors of the rest of your team. Or something like that. I think there is in basketball? Guess not. Anyway, didn't bother me

Give me a break dudes have you no clue?........This is 'National Breast Cancer Awareness Month" and since the NFL designated that it was ok to wear Pink as a way to dedicate their game or whatever to the cause then those who choose to wear it are ok. Since I went through a big deal with my wife who had the Big 'C' with breast problems, then I say to hell with you who would mock what they may have worn here. Wait until someone you love has to go through this horrible disease and then you go ahead and mock those who choose to honor the victims of this terrible desease by wearing Pink ............Think about it!!!!!!..look around you .....every family has someone affected by the Cancer gene....

for the most part you have to wear team issued gear, so its at the discretion of the coach and the equipment manager

Sorry I shouted out but we should look around as many athletes/people are wearing PINK this month to raise awareness and I think its great that the SMU staff would allow the players to wear pink to make a statement.......the NFL players have every thing from sweat bands to gloves in pink this month to shout it out....it may be your mother, sister or wife that has to go through that crappy chemo or radiation...

Hey sorry it wasn't at you ....I was just amazed that other posters weren't aware of the significance of the color, especially with the NFL making it a point. I am sorry about Mrs. KS and hope all is well with her. Mrs. PS is doing well after 5 years .....

Aldrick was the only one wearing pink -- if he was indeed doing this to honor someone he knows or just breast cancer survivors in general, then that's a great thing! But there were numerous guys just mismatching red, blue, and white sleeves, with clearly no purpose other than to look different from teammates. If there is an SMU sponsored event where all players are encouraged to wear pink then I would be totally on board with that. And yes, there are a lot more problems to worry about when it comes to SMU football, so I don't think anyone here is flipping out about it. Just saying as a personal preference I like when a team is fully in uniform from head to toe (with exception to shoes/cleats since they fit differently).

They should also all have the same haircut, facial hair, get contact lenses so they have red and blue eyes, and get the same tattoos (none at all!). Why do we care? Let's play some foosball.
