• LB Pete Fleps took part in all drills, and said after practice that he feels no lingering after-effects after getting knocked out during Saturday's game against Navy. He said he "feels fine" and plans to play Saturday in Houston.
• C Mitch Enright, who sprained his left knee and ankle during Saturday's game, was held out of practice Tuesday, watching the workout while wearing a protective boot on his left ankle. He reiterated his statement immediately after Saturday's game, that there is no structural damage in either joint, and said the decision to sit out today's practice was mostly precautionary, and said the discomfort and swelling in the ankle have both gone down significantly.
"It's just to keep everything stable," he said. "It's so much better than it was, even yesterday. I'm playing."
Enright said he plans to try to practice Wednesday, or at the very latest, Thursday.
• During special teams drills, WR Brad Haynes pulled up lame while covering a kick and grabbed his left hamstring. Haynes got his leg checked out, and didn't return to the last few minutes of drills, although his limp was minimal.
"I just tweaked it a little. I should be able to practice tomorrow — I was just being careful today. But I should be back out tomorrow, and I'll be ready Saturday."
