Dallas Watch Party Options?

Postby RE Tycoon » Sat Oct 24, 2009 9:55 am

Unfortunately couldn't make it down to Houston this weekend. Anybody have a beat on a good watching party? I'm saw the post here about Fox and Hound, but the watching parties there in the past have been lackluster and I was hoping for something more central.

Go to Lakewood's 1st & 10. we're planning on a decent crowd of Mustangs.

If you're unfamiliar w/ the location it's at the NorthEast corner of Mockingbird and Abrams.

What time are people getting there? I am thinking about getting there around 6 or so to make sure I get a seat.

With the Horns playing at virtually the same time, I would definitely suggest an SMU friendly bar like the two mentioned above....anywhere else you may have a hard time getting a TV turned to SMU.

I'm going to do first and ten, be there around 6. Would love to go to St. Petes, it's closer, but what kind of atmosphere would that be? Unless it was an organized deal, I fear I'd be the only SMU fan there.

I had a good time. Haven't been there since it changed from Bailey's. Great staff, drinks were solid, good TV's and good SMU crowd. I'd go back to watch a SMU game. Only complaint would be lack of volume on TV, but it's rare that you can hear a game at a bar.
