For the season, we're giving up 32 points per game. We force alot more turnovers than previous years, but we're also giving up alot. If that doesnt bother anyone else, fine, I'll just sit and stew on it myself. But you cant deny it's still alot of points. When you give up that much, consistently, you're dependant on your offense to outscore your opponent, and I dont think our offense is up to the task.

Totaly agree. Our total turnovers caused is high, but although I do not know what it is, our net takeaway/giveaway cannot be good. No matter how much our defense has or does improve, we cannot keep giving up turnovers and field position to our opponents.

Even with the 3 fumbles lost vs. no turnovers gained vs. Houston, SMU is +.29 on the season for #48 in that stat.

I was impressed with the amount of pressure you guys were able to generate, and mainly with just your front four. We are playing with a new starter at LT and LG but both played pretty well in the 2nd half against Miss State and then at Tulane so they have gotten a bit of experience, but your group up front was tough on them.

Also was pretty impressed with how SMU bottled up our screen game, which is a big part of our offense. You guys got push on our group up front and it screwed up the timing of our bubble and delayed screens.
