Re: AnalogyBut in this case Padron is the taller one.

Re: AnalogyWe're all proud of Padron, but the mocking of Bo is a pretty harsh and out of line. Even if Padron keeps the starting job, and who knows if he will, we still need three QBs. Be supportive of ALL of them.
Re: Analogy
Agreed. How sorry is that. Bo is on our football team and got us off to a decent start and then you have people like couch'em basically imlying Bo Levi Mitchell is ball-less. I am sure his parents, friends, coaches, and teammates really appreciate a cheap shot like that when the kid is injured.
Re: Analogy
What would you say if I thought you were a ball-less SOB?
Re: Analogy
I guess I would say it is another case of you being factually incorrect. Give the negativity a break, we are 4-4, 3-1 in CUSA, and improving. Go Mustangs.
Re: AnalogyMost if not all of the "Bo Bashers" come from some Gen _ era where common sense / respect / historical perspective / pride / patience are lacking....Damn helicopter parents, look what you have given us!! BEAT RICE!!
Re: AnalogyI think BLM can be a very capable backup. Nobody (almost) is bashing him personally. But much like the geldings, he was a gamble that turned out to be a bust.
It has been clear to most of us that BLM is not capable in his current condition to MANAGE the offense as needed. It is way too early to annoint Padron as new Football Jesus, but he seems to be much more capable of keeping his wits, making good decisions, and managing the offense. Padron might have it, but BLM clearly does not. "I think Couchem is right."

Re: Analogy
Ah yes,the voice of wisdom in America. You claim there is a lack of common sense. Then why do you cling to who may be the worst quarterback in school history? If you wish to preach morality, go to your Jesus school. Your thoughts on "historical perspective" and "patience" give away your own lack of understanding. Patience made this institution lose for 20 years. Historical perspective keeps you content with minor victories, never expecting true results. The real perspective of this season does not involve decades of defeat. Oh no. It is the story of a single season, with players who have worked hard during their time at the school. Tell them it is okay to lose because SMU has played poorly for so long, and you will be the one lacking in respect. I respect these players enough to treat them as a team with hope and possibility. I do not burden them with the past. I do not accept losing, because patience in this war only brings further defeats. So continue. Tell us more of your wisdom, and I will tell you more of your folly.
