Here are just a couple of pictures and a short (pretty poor) video of the Smu/Tulsa game watching party last week at the 1st & 10. That was a great game watch. It looked like ThadFilms cameraman captured some great moments at this event and I can't wait to see them in the documentary.

It was great to cheer on the Stangs with so many of our best fans.

I also had a blast. My group was over in the corner by the entrance so we were a little removed from the Ponyfans area but we enjoyed the horse heads and megaphone. It was the best watching event for SMU I've ever attended. Well done and thank you 1st and Ten.

A special thank you to you guys, the Mustang Fans, that make these watching parties fun and exciting. Without everyone coming out, we would just be a bar with empty tables and TVs.

The game this weekend is on cable, not DirecTV, so unfortunately we won't have it on, but the good news is you can come and pre-game, and then join us after the game - b/c frankly if you're in town and want to watch the game, just go a mile west to the stadium.

Yeah, I heard from Mark H. - one of the owners over there - while my cameraman was filming, telling me he was getting great stuff. And heard from my camera guy after... and yes it went very, very well.

I finally get to see that footage myself tomorrow. Been back in the studio (in Austin) for a week, and tonight I head back to Big D.... and might not see the ATX again for a month!

Agreed. I'd have to say this one was a little better, only because of the number SMU only fans, and everyone that wanted a seat had one.

The Greenville Tulane party is a close 2nd in my mind.

Can I ask what was the purpose of the camera guy filming? The guy at the table next to me flipped out because they guy kept getting in his way...I thought it was great though, really added to the atmosphere.
