without pressure to score 40 pts a game to have any chance, the offense has been good enough to win 5 while losing 4. finally have a break-a-way threat at tailback to keep defenses honest.

It's been a strange year for me. Been too concerned with staying afloat in this unstable economy to be able to keep up with the Ponies. I see impressive wins over East Carolina and Tulsa and I see lopsided losses to TCU and Houston. I also see a smattering of wins and losses in there - some seemingly expected and some not. I also take note that SMU is one win away from bowl eligibility. Sweet. Catch me up.
