Greatest moment for SMU Mustangs in over 20 years?

1st place in the conference, looking for our first winning record since 1997 and first bowl game since 1984, and we have a bunch of young guys... Man this is awesome.

Personally, I enjoyed this win more than any other since beating Connecticut. Beating TCU was a big win at the time, but it didn't lead to anything. This win puts us on the cusp of something we haven't seen in 25 years.

Agreed! To me the team is still 5-4 (1 was against an FCS team) and to surpass the 1997 team, we need to win at least 1 more!!!

This is a great feeling, being at SMU from 90-94 this is incredible. Lets focus on Marshall truly get a winning record then beat Tulane....

1997 and 2 years ago actually were non losing seasons. We need one more for the first winning season in 25 years.

My bad, sorry. We ere 6-6 on 2006 and 6-5 in 1997.

Agree. Upsetting TCU was fun, if only because of the promise of what was to come at that time. But I'll take 6-4 right now over anything that has happened post DP. Now let's go win CUSA.
