You may be right on the end zone but I think more students were at homecoming, at least for the first half. What surprised me was the absence of west side attendees. Looking up from my seats which are down low, there were large open spaces.
Really I was on the West side like always and it sure seemed crowded to me. I couldn't even slide over to get closer to the 50, I had to slum it on the 35. I did notice how the stadium filled up during the game. The 1st quarter was pretty sparse but as the game continued it really seemed to fill up. The East side looked scattered but still a good amount of folks.
I am on the 50, 8 rows up. There were many empty seats around me. Some students filled some of them after half time, but there were half rows of space all around section 104 above me.
