Great team effort

That was one of the guttiest performance by an SMU team in a long time. Especially in the end of the game.

All the usual suspects were great but I would like to highlight #31 Bennie Thomas III who came in to replace Sterling Moore. I did not see one blown coverage and some key defended bombs.

I noticed Bennie doing a lot of talking after plays to the receivers he was covering. He really got in their heads. He nearly drew a personal foul at one point, but the flag was picked up - a bit of overacting on his flop. But then he did draw a personal foul call a little later on. I believe it was the call that left UTEP with 1st and goal from the 30 yard line. Could have been huge, if we could cover a screen pass.
