Right on, that was exactly what I was asking. If by some miracle we do get a big lead, why not pull Padron and have him watch and learn for series or two from the sideline for Jones as BLM executes a few plays. Jones can teach him something in a live game (look BLM should have looked at that receiver, etc.), plus it saves Padron from injury. Not saying we will get a bid lead, but if we do I would protect Padron some and let BLM get in some throws.
Kyle will learn a lot more on the field than on the sideline. Despite the loss, look at what he takes away from marshall even over his other starts: pocket awareness, recovering his checks, etc. thats not a "lookie there" lesson, its experience. We need him taking as many snaps as possible - including those that may involve running up a score as the post suggests. We need to learn how to put teams away once we establish a lead. Hopefully we can get to a position on Tulane to run some numbers and make a statement.
