Bill plug in the flights on you smart phone, have them ready to book. Then pull the trigger Saturday when you know we have won, which for this team is when the clock runs out.
Need to wait until after the Houston-Rice result becomes certain. If SMU and Rice both win, the question becomes will we go to Hawaii regardless of what happens in the Conf USA Championship game.
I expect to beat Tulane and I expect Houston to beat Rice. That said, I would think if Rice and SMU won, the Hawaii bowl would work a swap out with the participants of the Championship game, winner to Liberty and loser to Hawaii with Jones then bargining to get SMU to Hawaii regardless.

If we win, I expect an offer to be extended at the middle of the field after the game.

I just do not see how they can do that. If we win we are at the least Co-Champions of the West Division. They have to see what officially happens at Houston/Rice before they can extend an invitaion unless it is done with conditions.

I heard an interview of the Hawaii Bowl Executive Director and he indicated if we won the Conference we would go to the Liberty Bowl. He said an invitation could not be extended to SMU until all 7 win teams had Bowls and it was known that we were not going to be Conference Champions. So, there cannot be an invitation until after Houston beats Rice Saturday night. If Houston looses and we win then we will have to wait until after the Championship game. If we loose and Marshall wins there would be five 7 win teams and five bowls and we will have to hope one of the Conference backup bowls (Texas or Eagle) needs a team. If both Marshall and SMU wins then there will be six 7 win teams and I am sure Hawaii will choose us over any other team. We really need to WIN this game to assure us of either the Hawaii Bowl or the Liberty Bowl.

Sounds like a good reason to go to the luncheon on Monday.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

By the way, when I was watching the UT game last night they kept showing bowl eligible teams by conference. The SEC had 10 teams that were bowl eligible. I think the Big XII had 8 or 9. I guess that one game against 1-AA teams allows essentially each 1-A team to have 1 win (except for UVa this year who lost theirs to William and Mary). So, then they can have 5-6 records at 1-A and still be bowl eligible.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Correct, you can count 1 win per year against a 1-AA towards bowl eligibility. That is why there are a few teams that are 6-6 but are not eligible - they played 2 1-AAs.
