Dear lord, are we really naming the geldings "Liberty" and "Justice?" Now some on this board (VarsityShop) will say that we are being unpatriotic when we say that we do not support them being on field level.

We don't need more than one (1) SMU mascot. That would be Peruna.

It's like Jones has a flair for over-the-top parody. In Hawaii? We need tribal warriors, face paint, etc. In Texas? We need country music (pony up) etc. That didn't catch on? SMU is getting Bush library....I guess we need to name the gelding interlopers "Libery" and "Justice"!

Thanks for a great job this year. As already mentioned the progress over the season was terrific. My favorite part this season was at Homecoming when you introduced Peruna when he ran as the "Pride of SMU". It made the touchdown celebration run a moment of focus. It thrilled me every time.
