Thomas Morstead

Postby Hilltop » Mon Nov 30, 2009 6:18 pm

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but Thomas was on the list of donors for the busses last Saturday. On top of this, he also made an appearance on the sidelines earlier in the season when the Saints had a bye week. As our program continues to gain traction, I hope more of our players that make it to the next level follow his example.

It is great to see SMU young alumni starting to stay involved with the school from the moment they receive their diploma. This will help us out greatly in the years to come.

Wouldnt be surprised to see some of the SMU greats like Eric Dickerson on the sidelines at Hawaii, which will be good to see for our recruits and the rest of the country to connect with SMU.

He was "punked" on the fox NFL pregame show Thursday. Pretty funny stuff, even mentioned that he went to SMU.

Another excellent game from TM on MNF. I can't believe the Ponies AND the Saints are winning. Can you imagine what I've gone through the last 25 years?

The commentators commented several times how good Morstead is. I'm happy for him, his family was very hospitable when I wandered by their tailgate last time we played at Rice.

The fact that he never did kickoffs at SMU is amazing. Thomas is leading the NFL in touchbacks.
