Obamas to spend Christmas in Hawaii

That would be good for President Obama to come to the game and hopefully visit the SMU players. A lot of the African American players on th team and that we are recruiting consider him a role model (whether some of us on here want to admit it or not). It might help our imagine as a whole in the African American communities especially if it is shown on nation wide TV.

I am not an Obama fan to say the least, but I can't imagine for the world why he would want to be associated in any way with SMU as we have the Bush Library coming to campus and Laura is a graduate. It would not look good politically and would not even think that even he would take that risk.

He went to aTm to speak there as former President Bush invited him to do so. If JJ or Orsini invited him I am sure he would do it. Or if the Hawaii Bowl invited him to speak to both teams. Now that could be a possibility.
