Bitter reminder

Lost in the euphoria of winning and post season activities, is a little reminder of how far this team has come.

This team has overcome adversity and shown real winning character.

Hopefully, we will never be on this list again.

Along those same lines, check out THIS. It is a compilation of most of the preseason conference rankings from various publications. No one picked SMU better than 4th. Most said SMU would finish last in the West or better than only Tulane.

Funny re: Bottom 10 piece, despite our defense still being a work in progress, our defense was instrumental in most of our wins with many take aways and crucial stops when absolutely needed. Tom Mason should be coach of the year.

Kudos also to McKnight and his special teams performance.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
