OT: DMN - Columnists Debate BCS System

Colishaw point of view vs. Sherrington. Colishaw's point of view is flawed in my opinion. Why does every conference champ have to be considered? I wonder how he thinks he can say it's fair when the topic comes up every single year since inception.

I thought I heard last night on the news, something about congress passing a playoff law. Has anyone else heard the same thing?

Congress is fooling around with some legislation that would prevent the BCS from using the word championship or declaring a national champion. Not likely to happen but at least a step in the right direction. Cowlishaw is full of it. How any rational, objective human can argue against a playoff boggles my mind. The BCS is perhaps the most hypocritical organisation in existence. It is only about one thing-hogging all the money.
