Multiple Hats

Seems like a lot of teams are utilizing multiple helmet colors these days. I know helmet colors are a big controversy around here, but I think it would be cool to have a red or blue one to wear once in a while.

Red helments were the tradition for SMU until the seventhies.

Great pix "Special Delivery..."!

Retro Idea: Just a perfect time to honor the men that put us on the college football map by going back to the crimson/red helmets (with the dark crimson-looking stripe) & jerseys. Then top it off by going back to the khaki pants that were worn by all the teams during that era much like white is now. Everyone wore kahki back then & to some degree - gray. White began to get phased in during the late 50's & 60's. The gray optional pants would also be available since we used them, too.

We could use these unis a couple of times each season or for special occasions, etc. Everytime we wear them at home, we could honor the players from that pre mid-1950's era when Mustang football really meant something.

BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Our white helmet is among the best in the country. Don't F with it.
While we're at it, go back to the blue Mustang decal.
Plagiarize!
