Gosh, General, I would have thought that if there was anyone else on this board who knew the words to Buckeye Battle Cry other than me, it would have been you

I'm just proud of how well Ohio State really limited Oregon's offense. I was pretty intense because I'm so tired of the Big Ten taking it on the chin.

Thought the play of the game was that jump ball that TE caught that eventually led to the Buckeyes final TD.

For those who don't know, I believe Musberger went to Northwestern. His Big Ten homerism is OK by me.

I personally could care less about that game but kudos to Ohio State for finally stepping up and playing well in a bowl game...or at least being matched up against someone they could beat

Penn State did a nice job in the muck against LSU

The Big 10 is actually doing much better than I expected in their bowl games this year.

MWC remains the most impressive, though

Big Ten is 3-2 with half of Michigan State (14 players suspended) to play in the Alamo Bowl and Iowa in the Orange Bowl. After 1-6 last year, I consider this a step in the right direction.

Go Sparty and Go Hawks!

But the conference does need a 12th team -- Missouri -- and has to carry the regular season to the Saturday after Thanksgiving if not the first week of December in what I hope will be the weekend of the championship game which could rotate betweed Ford Field in Detroit and Chicago's Soldier Field.
