I think he is talking about slapping the young man in the face without his helmet on. This was not a head slap to the helmet as some do. Not to mention that he grabbed the young man by the throat and did this as well. That is a bit beyond old school.

I don't mind a slap in the face.....I have seen players beat themselves up worse in warmups in order to get pumped up.

I did not read where we choked him.......I would agree that a ranger choke hold is crossing the line.

One thing that is frustrating these days is getting the truth from people......no one tells the truth anymore and it becomes more difficult to understand if the player is telling the truth or the coach.

have to say I agree with you, though a ranger-get-in-your-face might be ok
