So if there are any 93 year olds who were at the game, you can weigh in. I believe this incident would be in the DC archives from 1935 or probably in the NY Times archives. That was also the game where we beat the Seven Blocks of Granite (including one guy named Vincent Lombardi). It was waayy before my time. There were apparently pictures of Peruna coming to town and pictures of him riding in the NY Cab which got him so riled up. At least I vaguely remember seeing them somewhere. I did personally witness the time Peruna ran through the middle of the Rice band, and when he left a big steaming gift on the new TCU astroturf, and a friend witnessed him scaring the Baylor Bear.
It would have had to have been 34, 36, or 41. I know that Peruna had his own cab to the game, etc.
