OUs Coach Stoops and UT AD Dodds are just starting to let people know about the changes that are going to take place. They know that the Big 12 is already history as we know it. I think OU and UT are seriously looking at their options now and I still say OU, UT, A&M, and Okie St. will make a move together.

yep although Oklahoma St maybe fighting with Texas Tech and/or Kansas for that last spot. The more I think about it adding Kansas to that group makes more and more sense under the new math of Expansion strategy.

With Kansas, you get KC, KS, which isn't bad, plus big time BB. However, that means KSU, OSU and TTech would be orphans. Not sure the respective state legislators would be happy about that?

I think you are right that UT and A & M will move together, but I don't think OSU is too attractive to other conferences. Same thing for K State. I don't know what politics are like in either of those states, but I am pretty certain UT and A & M will leave TTU hanging in the breeze with little difficulty. And I'm not sure how much it souts the pot if OU and OSU are a non-negotiable package deal. Does anybody know how strong OSU and K State are politically?
