Blog........ The Big 12 is crumbling as we speak. According to numerous reports, here’s where the conference stands: • Colorado has accepted an invitation to the Pac-10 • Texas A&M and Texas are prepared to accept spots in the Big Ten • Oklahoma is seeking a spot in the SEC • Oklahoma State is racing toward the Pac-10 • Nebraska is expected to accept an invitation to the Big Ten as early as Friday That leaves Baylor, Missouri, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State and Texas Tech in the Big 12. In order to survive and retain its BCS automatic bid, the Big 12 will fight to keep its head above water. That might include adding TCU, BYU or the like. But geographically, Conference USA’s West Division could offer some options to the Big 12. C-USA West Division includes SMU, Houston, Tulsa, UTEP, Rice and Tulane. If some of those teams were swiped, C-USA would be fighting for survival itself. That could, in turn, leave the East Division open for pilfering by the Sun Belt or a merger. C-USA’s East Division includes East Carolina, Central Florida, Southern Miss, Marshall, UAB and Memphis. Marshall may not be a geographic fit. Memphis and Central Florida could eventually be bound for the Big East, if it survives realignment. That would still leave schools like Southern Miss and UAB or perhaps more to snatch for another.....
Re: On ticket and link -- ut ATM to b10. Ou secIf any of this is true and the Big XI has 3 teams go to the Big X+1, then ND is the odd man out. If other conferences expand and put immense pressure on ND's tv deal, then perhaps there is an oportunty to form a new conference with ND and have AQ status. And SMU copuld be well positions in a new confernce with the Dallas market.
Re: On ticket and link -- ut ATM to b10. Ou secThis must be bunk. Why would PAC-10 want OSU? Makes no sense.

Re: On ticket and link -- ut ATM to b10. Ou secGood question! No academics, no TV market, Why? Maybe the invite was made to each university seperately, rather than as a group and OSU is trying to RSVP before the invitation is withdrawn.
Silly thought...OU needs a partner to go to the SEC, the SEC has no presence in Texas, OSU is not a fit for Pac 10, maybe they need a Texas partner, the new Big Twelve now has only Tech in Texas and no presence in Dallas or Houston, maybe they need a Texas partner, maybe... Re: On ticket and link -- ut ATM to b10. Ou secMaybe T. Boone promised them all horses.
Re: On ticket and link -- ut ATM to b10. Ou secthe plot thickens
Re: On ticket and link -- ut ATM to b10. Ou secBefore this thing is over, Texas will have made everyone mad. Maybe A&M will join OU and go to the SEC as they originally threatened, leaving UT and Nebraska in the new Big Ten.
Re: On ticket and link -- ut ATM to b10. Ou sec
haha. The Pac does not want OSU, but OSU is trying to sneak in someplace before they get hosed.
