Not Good For Us...

Kansas next in line for PAC-10 if A&M goes to SEC. That means they don't raid MWC for Utah et al and it doesn't fall apart allowing us to join the leftover pieces and form a better conference...

I guess that handshake with Kansas St didn't really mean much. Who can blame them though

What do Baylor and K-State do now? Without Kansas (who cares about I-State), they aren't as attractive.

I still think A&M goes Pac.

Time to hope that A&M stays in Big XII with Baylor, Iowa St., Mizzou, Kansas, KSU and that Utah joins Pac-16. The Big XII would remain AQ. This would start a MWC grab of Big XII or C-USA West teams and the Big XII would have to take teams from either MWC or C-USA West. Lots of opportunities for us.

zero chance of A&M staying in Big 12. Either SEC or PAC.

i cant believe how screwed Missouri appears to be. from the penthouse with options to the outhouse with apparently no options. brutal. I thought Kansas was our hope to anchor a new conference, but Bill self has a alot of stroke at KU these days and truth is there is no way in hell he is bringing his boys to Moody to play this slop. He knows us pretty well too from his years at Tulsa.

to think that A&M would stay is just crazy. the only hope was Texas keeping the big XII intact. Once they left it was game over. here's what we've got left

1. MWC --no way in hell this happens with KU, K STate, and Missouri still in play
2. CUSA--expansion, pick up K State, KU, Baylor. not likely

we're playing Texas Hold'em with 2-7 off suit, and we bought in with enough to cover the small blind. unless Turner and Orsini have a pair of aces up their sleeves we're going to be staying put...

good analogy. SMU could have some jokers in the deck.

I hear that some SMU alum's are well connected and have some $$$$ to help!
