The big guys up front have taken some heat at times this year, and deservedly so. But we also need to give them credit: they were awesome today, especially the left side of the line. Joey Slaten had three pancake blocks by my count, and (Grapevine's own) James McCarthy was a madman out there. He was killing people, and getting out in the open field to make downfield blocks. How about the one when Page rolled right and McCarthy led him out there, turned around and took out two tacklers?
ShanDerrick looks like he'll be a great runner, but even Dickerson doesn't run for 200+ and four TDs without a line opening holes for him.
