I don't know whether the information about Gottschalk appeals and admission is correct or not. It could be. But the only source I recall seeing for that information is the Dallas Observer article, and as I recall that statement in the article was unattributed. Now the Deseret News is citing the Observer as the source of that information about Gottshalk. Has anyone ever been able to confirm from an independent source whether the Observer information is correct? Like I said, it might be. But after reading that schlocky article in the Observer, I'm not prepared to take any of their unattributed "facts" at face value.
