Zach Line didn’t come to college expecting to run the ball.

An undersized linebacker prospect, Line came to SMU from Oxford, Mich., after barely being recruited in high school. He took an extra year as a grayshirt prospect to get bigger and stronger and prepare for what he thought would be an eventual college career stopping ball carriers.
