Good game Ponies. I know y'all got up for this one and it showed. Your program is certainly improving and we look forward to many more good games in the future, starting next year. I expect by this time next season our teams will be about even.

The real shame is that the media will spin the closeness of the game as a TCU failure to "dominate," rather than an SMU victory in closing the gap. They'll knock y'all as just another "non-AQ" team when yours is clearly an up and coming program.

Don't worry; it's just a matter of time before you get an invite to the MWC.

You all played with an incredible fire under and really wanted this game. I'm really impressed and I would love to see you all help strengthen the MWC. Nothing like an in state conference rivalry game. You guys are really improving and this game is only going to get better in the near future. You guys are a classier team and a better team than some of our other in state rivals, not pointing any fingers to a school about an hours drive south of Fort Worth. Good luck in the rest of the schedule and a victory for the Mustangs is a Victory for your neighbors to the west!!!!

Yeah, solid game. Your RB was quite the bruiser as advertised, although after the sixth or seventh draw play I was a little annoyed at our defense's inability to react. You guys weren't kidding when you said Padron held on to the ball too long.

Definitely a nice change of pace to see a team actually get up and get excited for a instate rivalry game (See: Baylor). Thought there was a lot of intensity on both sides of the ball, I think you guys have a good shot at winning your conference.

Oh, and that one-handed catch was sick.

Overall i would say the fans, game day experience (especially the VARD) and the actual game were all at a very high level. Everyone enjoyed the fun of a good rivalry. We are a better team then we have been - and so is TCU.

It kills me to say this but I hope you ruin the BCS party so we all can particiapte in the future in a real play off instead of the cartel.
