Good Game Ponies

Couple quick thoughts - haven't read your board yet so might be repeating a few things.
1. Waited in line 25 minutes at Gate 4...2 people tearing tickets. Ridiculously poor planning.
2. Had my 8 year old son with me and we got a lot of TCU sucks comments (more than usual)...a lot of them from younger SMU fans. That was disappointing - my son looked at me and said that wasn't nice and they were being rude. Also a lot of unprovoked scoreboard taunts throughout the game. Oh well, it happens.
3. Most annoying PA guy I have ever heard anywhere. Such a high voice and too loud. Also turn down the volume if you are going to mic up the band.
4. Stats....I'm sure this has been discussed.
5. As for the game, I was very impressed with Zach Line and the O Line. You really gashed us. I thought we looked very average on defense...in large part due to your play.
6. Hunt is really developing fast - he is BIG.

I look forward to a tough game next year at Amon Carter.

I had 2 TCU people behind me that got excited after Kerley's KO return and dropped the f bomb in excitement a few times. We have some young kids in our area and I asked them to please watch their language. They apologized and we actually had some enjoyable conversation for the remaining of the game.

Sorry you were hit with sone rude fans Reed.

As far as the sound system, it is so much better than the last few years, I have no problem with it.

Walking back to my car after the game, crossing Mockingbird and wearing my SMU cap, about 5-6 Froggie fans (early 20 something males) shouting profanities and yelling SMOO suks 3 feet from us, had my 12 year old son with me...agreed, the SMOO gatekeeping on all aspects is horrible

Hard to fault SMU for the gatekeeping when we only ever pull 10k people every weekend.

Sorry ReedFrawg your son had to experience the ugly side of humanity. It's pretty much everywhere these days. Right in front of our seats the cops had to eject a TCU punk standing on the 45 yard line of the SMU home side in the walkway handicap seat area that was taunting and being obnoxious. Agreed we have a way to go as far as PA, managing the scoreboard, and handling a big crowd entering the gates at start time. It was nice to see them selling drinks/ect in the stands because of the concession stand lines being so long.
