Possible to win 6 or 7 straight?

Postby SMU2007 » Sun Oct 10, 2010 1:43 am

Great win today by the ponies. maybe not the prettiest thing, but they got the job done. we've got next week against navy, but after that, it's 5 straight conference games and we can't afford to drop any of them. win those, and we have a 6th conference game at home. gonna be a tough stretch, but hopefully our best ball is in front of us.

go mustangs!!

Triple option is always a challenge. Beat Navy!

I agree — maybe the best thing about the win (and there are a lot of good things when we beat Tulsa and send their idiot coach home with a loss) was that we didn't play particularly well .... and we still beat Tulsa!

I think you could see some changes on the o-line, increased d-line rotation, and rotational use of the frosh CBs at both corner and punt return against Navy.

Id settle for catching a punt - forget the return.

Very true. Fair catch every one from now on. Actually, if we just let every one of them hit the ground and stayed away from it, that would be an improvement from what we've been doing back there.
