SMU v. UTEP at 1st & 10

Postby Dutch » Fri Nov 05, 2010 1:37 pm

Ok, here's the situation RE: the game. I am usually the one who hooks up the internet feed for the games that aren't available on TV but i'm unavailable saturday night. We are in the process of scheduling our IT guy to come up and take care of it for us at the store(s)

So, we are diligently working towards showing the game, and will find a way to get it done by kickoff, just bear with us while we work out the details.

if anyone with a laptop that has an HDMI output wants to help out, we'll comp you a couple pitchers of beer. i can take 3-4 at Lakewood and Plano.

no, that was me - that's what happens when you try to do things yourself, and the problem at the last one was it was just after Tx/OU, so the bar was packed with people on their smart phones that overloaded the wifi. if i had a ladder there i could have gotten up and reset the router thereby kicking them all off the system and opening it up for me to get online. i didn't. so i couldn't get my computer to connect.

it won't be a problem this time (or at least i won't be the one to blame  )

i wish. i get a lot of hall passes, but not this weekend. in fact, i think i'm overly fortunate regarding hall passes. my wife is VERY forgiving. but sometimes i have to bite the bullet, and this one involves in-laws in town, my son's birthday, my brother in law's birthday AND my birthday. it's a perfect storm. fortunately for me, i've convinced them to have the festivities at my house, where i have TWC, so i can have the game on. i just can't get out to help the other ponyfans watch.
