if you think tcu is better than the smu pony express days i can't help you. we were playing in the swc against real competition. tcu has beaten a bunch of nobodys.

Define real and nobodys since we know in the Pony Express days Rice was a powerhouse as was TCU (we were in the middle of a 15-game winning streak against those guys?) and Baylor was very average, A&M was down until Jackie Sherrill got there.

Then throw in some cornball non-conference opponents like UNT, UTEP and maybe UTA(?).

Texas and Arkansas were the games and Tech and UH were always the wild card games.

We did what we needed to do against those teams and we deserved to be a national power then.

TCU deserves to be a national power now. They didn't go to Salt Lake City last week and beat the dog out of Utah because they were lucky. There are enough quality wins by TCU over the years to reveal how good of a program it is.
Just keeping it real.

The TCU head coach and his team both have much more of a "killer instinct" than either JJ or his team seem to have.

Oh friggin' leave JJ alone! It's like this program's been crossing the desert for 20 years, we come upon an oasis with fan waving women trying to feed us grapes, and after 15 minutes everyone's complaining the cushions aren't soft enough. Bunch of friggin' spoiled brats. Makes me sick.
