A Hattiesburg police spokesperson says an altercation took place inside the Hunt Club off Highway 49 around 1:20am. That altercation then moved outside of the Hunt Club where one person opened fire injuring three.
While Southern Miss has declined comment at this time, sources tell 7 on Your Side that Southern Miss football players are among those injured. Their conditions are described as critical.
