I laughed at that one.

But it's a little off - the fat girl lost weight, got some contacts and a decent haircut. Everybody knows who she is and her history, but the popular jock sees some potential here and, besides, he knows she is going to put out.

Why did he wait 8-9 months to sign a contract extension? I got the sense people were getting nervous about his future here when that was still sitting out there.

I don't know why he waited so long. Is that your point, that he might leave some day? He could do that without any leverage. Would you trade success for a different coach with less leverage?
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.
