Poli sci grad here.
Loved it when my profs would give us a one question quiz on Mon or Tues of Thanksgiving week with an insanely easy question.
Majority of the class got an easy 100 and the folks who left town were SOL.

I was there on 9/11 and had only one class in four cancel. I don't remember many classes being canceled, either.
