Potential 6-7 and no bowl?

I apologize guys. I hope we lose to ECU too.

Please see my post on the other thread. Like me, I know you hope we kick the ever living sh*** out of ECU, win the conference, and then our bowl game.

This was more of a frustrated statement about the bickering and not directed to you. I am really a laid back kind of guy. Well actually a formerly high strung guy but so old that I have become laid back whether I like it or not. I read your other post and I do realize that you are a very good fan. I just do not like to even think about losing. The wording of your post struck me wrong and I probably overreacted when I should have just silently seethed.

I'm pretty sure that the Armed Forces Bowl will extend an invite to us even if we lose for the simple fact that it is being played on our campus. Why invite another C-USA team (like UTEP) that is hours away from the game site? It just makes sense they would invite us.

I think they will invite TCU because for the simple fact that they are officially the Host school...

I'd be down for a 2010 Iron Skillet rematch, but I think we all know there isn't a shot in hell that is going to happen...

it takes 6 wins to be bowl elgible, which we would have.

Actually, it takes a .500 record, which in a 12 game schedule is 6 wins, and in a 13 game schedule is 7 wins...which is why Hawaii never goes bowling with 6 wins.

We would need a waiver to play in a bowl game at 6-7.

Teams with losing records do not deserve to go to bowl games....................why recognize failure?
