It's not about attention, it's about simple fact checking as a journalist. Mandel is one of the best out there, and I find it embarrassing that he got this wrong.

Not only did I send him an e-mail about this, I questioned the TCU '35 National Championship as that is subject to interpretation (plus pointing out the Mustangs beat them, since I doubt his awareness goes back that far)

Mandel is an idiot...thats how he corrects this?.....only .talk about a freshman QB from UCF?.....C'mon.....total indifference to facts and interest to both programs. He doesnt do his research is all this reveals.
