Give me a break on the rumor stuff. June Jones doesn't want anything to do with the U. He came to SMU because it was a challenge and because he wanted to go to a school where a clean program is not a dirty word. He wants to go out a winner at a school that was left for dead. That job is not finished. When we go undefeated and beat a Big XII team and TCU, he'll feel that he's accomplished what he set out to do.

You think Arkansas, or for that matter, just about any other SEC school, would allow that to happen? Really? Vanderbilt or Kentucky might be glad for the respite from the very bottom, at least for a while...
