those numbers can be juggled in so many ways if you don't pay attention. The NCAA appears to be the standard formula but other institutions and coaches will often cite misleading figures. For example, some schools will extrapolate out to 6-7 years-others will only count members who stayed at a particular institution. What about transfers that graduated or failed to graduate elsewhere. You really need to make sure you compare Apples to Apples.

Thing is, we don't need new professors or anything like that to start such a major. We still have plenty of qualified instructors stashed away in the 'Wellness' department. I'm sure they would much rather be teaching kineseology to athletes than teaching my uncoordinated, out of shape self how to play racquetball.
I do believe that Peter Gifford that was the head of the PE department is still there. Many other of the instructors are still there. I am talking about people with Master and PHD's.
The classrooms are there too. Anyway the biology and anatomy are taught in science building. Same as pre-med. At least is was. In other words, we are paying some of the KEY people already!!! Mustang Militia: Fight the good fight"
