SA Ponies?I know there has been mention of it before, but where will the San Antonio Mustangs be watching the game this Saturday?
Re: SA Ponies?I am open to suggestions.
Re: SA Ponies?Oops didn't see this post. I'm also open to suggestions.
Re: SA Ponies?I don't get out to the sports bars so I don't know what would be a good place. I live on the northside, but can go anywhere. Maybe some of you guys who hit the sports bars have a favorite watering hole.
Re: SA Ponies?Just moved to SA from Dallas. I don't know my way around.
Re: SA Ponies?Welcome to San Antonio. We will figure someplace out. I still hope someone will step up with their favorite place.
Re: SA Ponies?...sounds like a "mexican stand-off"....
Re: SA Ponies?A few places in SA with Multiple TV's and Drinks:
Northwest: Yardhouse in La Cantera -- Bar with hundreds of beer on Tap and huge menu. Stone Oak: G Sports Bar at Stone Oak Pwky & Hardy Oak Alamo Heights: Broadway 50 50 410 & Bandera: Fatso's Sports Garden Northeast Side: Hooligans' in the Forum Shopping Center "I'm a little different than your normal Texas coach, but I get it done, and we win."
Re: SA Ponies? All of those are fine with me. Most convenient to me is G Sports Bar and Yardhouse at La Cantera. What about the rest of you guys?
Re: SA Ponies?I did a little recon today and G Sports Bar does not open until 3PM, so they are out. In the Sonterra area is the Lion & Rose at 700 E. Sonterra. They open at 11 tomorrow and will have the game on both video and audio. They have a lot of flat screens, but not any huge screens. So if you guys are still interested I suggest you vote one of the above plus Lion & Rose.
Re: SA Ponies?Watching party at my San Antonio house. Cooking Hot Wings and drinking cold beer for halftime.
