Yes, I talked to the cheerleaders coach and she said the ones that went DEFINITELY paid their OWN way (air, hotel, etc.) That's crazy they had to. But what dedication to be admired. Things are changing on the Hilltop for cheerleaders to pay their way for an expensive road trip. Thanks Cheerleaders!

What about short road trips to Tulsa. Last year no band no cheer.
It seemed empty with out them.

I asked the former admin about that and he said they didn't have a sponsor to go with them that weekend. For some reason, he couldn't do it and they couldn't find another admin person to go.
Several of the cheerleaders were there, but they were in the stands with the fans. Not as good as on the field, but they did go to support the team.
