I guess I'm at a loss. Other than this announcement of the black out (for fans?), has the school announced that the team is wearing black for the game?

Or is this the ideal internet rumor that has taken on a life of its own where the more people who contribute to the sharade actually believe it until it is shown to be untrue?

If memory serves about Jones, I believe I speculated that black was coming (I wasn't breaking any news) in a thread back in August or September. I pointed out that the coaches were wearing black but that was discounted because it would be easier for players to identify them.

Well, where are we at now with this?

Black is making its way into college athletics to where folks like TCU have sold out and have no made it their primary color and purple is secondary. Texas is using it. Minnesota is using it,,,etc.

I would be interested to see how we incorporate it with out scheme should it go that way.

I have mixed feelings about black.
