1. We wore black jerseys 2. KP runs to the sidelines between plays (i) wasting time and (ii) allowing the defense to rest 3. JJ interviewed with MD, possible grade issues, etc. - distractions 4. JJ called timeout to ice his kicker before attempting a kick into a swirling wind 5. Center has trouble snapping the ball - throws KP's timing off 6. KP locks on the receivers allowing the defense to know where the throw is going

Triple Option, run by a more disciplined team, beats the run and shoot, poorly executed.

something is missing in the offense good stats just no endzones..especially early whatever it is...they better get it fixed in spring ball defense played pretty good this year offense way to much trouble finding pay-dirt it is still shocking to me that we have an offensive guru hc but our defense plays better than our offense. 11. The band is too small and the cheerleaders didn't cheer enough.

The Padron fumble set the tone early. While Army certainly created the play, it was pretty lucky by them to score on a fumble at that end of the field. We did recover, but our comeback was too little too late. I still feel we'd beat them three out of four times.
I hated to lose, but overall I thought it was a great bowl experience. Organizers did a good job and it was nicely attended.

13. Army wanted it more. The Mustangs didn't want to be in this bowl until they realized how crapy life was going to be if they lost. Of course by then, it was too late. Opportunity lost forever.
